Film, Fall, Forests.

It’s true, fall is here.

Leaves, Fall, Autumn

Aside from my thesis film, one of the other films I’m working on is my friend Katie’s. It’s a heartwarming story about an imaginative little girl who isn’t quite ready to grow up. I’m the cinematographer/DOP for the shoot, so the other day Katie and I went location scouting. I had the task of climbing down the prickly bushes, rocks and dirt (oh and spider webs) into the stream to snap some photos. Katie had the difficult task of being a stand in for the child actors.

I love my new neighbourhood.

Did I mention this forest is right down the street from me, and the path leads right downtown?
